The product proposition

Two everyday needs.
One focused concept.

Pure Roll brings automatic toilet-paper dispensing and a post-use fragrance into a single device concept for shared restrooms.

01

Hands-free
dispensing.

A wave across the front sensor is intended to activate dispensing, without manually turning a shared roll.

02

A fresh-scent
experience.

The product direction includes a pleasant fragrance after use, with the next visitor in mind.

03

Everyday
facility care.

An easy-clean plastic housing is part of the brief. Final materials, refill and servicing requirements need technical confirmation.

The intended interaction

A simple experience
to evaluate.

Consider the user experience alongside the engineering and servicing requirements as development progresses.

The founder's starting point

From a familiar problem
to a product idea.

The idea behind Pure Roll
Kristen Thelander

A different approach to a shared routine.

During the pandemic, Kristen began thinking more about the surfaces people share in public restrooms. Toilet paper was one of those everyday details that stayed on her mind.

She pictured automatic dispensing without handling a shared roll, paired with a pleasant fragrance after use. That thinking became Pure Roll.

The next conversation is about turning that direction into a technically and commercially considered product.
